King Cole tesTEAmonials

Hi,

King Cole has been in our family for two generations, going on three with our children. We have converted quite a few relatives to your fine blend of tea. My husband and I tease them if they do not have King Cole tea served when we visit. Believe me we do know when it is not King Cole, for you see we are very fussy about our tea.

I have a dear friend who has traveled the world and says that the best tea she was ever served was in my household and just could not figure out why. My secret is to let it steep in a fine English tea pot and viola, the best tea ever.... and precious moments shared....

My Dad has relatives come down from Montreal and raid the local stores for a huge supply of King Cole tea to keep them going till their next visit.

We have a lot of fun visiting because everyone we do visit makes sure that only the finest tea we enjoy has a place in their home for our delight.... King Cole!

So from our home to yours, thanks for all the memories you help create in a world that is rushed but never one where family and friends cannot gather to share a cup of King Cole tea.

How we came across King Cole tea was pure accident. We have been lover's of great teas for years, however, on our trip to the east coast of Gaspe, Quebec in 1992 we met up with bad weather in the form of rain, cold and fog. Seeing we couldn't do much we spent time at a small restaurant next to a motel.

Chatting with the local folk we requested something warm. Ordered tea all around with breakfast the next morning. We asked for their "normal" tea , the waitress mentioned if we would like to try King Cole tea. Why not we said. Well it's the best tasting tea we ever had ! Picked up several boxes at the local store before leaving the Gaspe to take back with us.

Since then we have enjoyed our King Cole tea and we've hooked many relatives and friends on it. So pleased it is now available in the Ottawa area. Keep on making the greatest tea in the world ...

John, Ottawa

I first tried King Cole tea at a small restaurant south of Ottawa. They called it their "house brand" and when I drank it I was hooked! Being a tea drinker all my life I have drank various tea bags as well as expensive loose teas. Never did I enjoy tea as much as I liked King Cole.

Being able to purchase it locally here in Ottawa is wonderful. When I travel I always carry a supply of King Cole tea with me. There is no tea as good nor as satisfying as King Cole - it is mellow yet flavourful, makes for great iced tea as well as hot.

Don't ever stop making it!

Two years ago my Sister was visiting from Ontario while my Husband was recovering from surgery. Each night when I returned home she would have toast and tea ready. Several times she remarked how delicious the tea was and how much she enjoyed it. I did not know she could not purchase King Cole tea where she lived. I assumed that everyone drank King Cole tea!

When we visited her last year I took along a supply of King Cole tea. One night I accompanied her to a meeting where I met many of her friends. Finding out I was from the Maritimes their first words were " did you bring any King Cole?".

I was surprised at King Cole's popularity and how much they missed it. One lady said she quit drinking tea because King Cole wasn't available. Needless to say I never travel without my King Cole tea and though it is now sold in Ontario I still include it with my Sister's birthday and Christmas gifts.

Your King Cole tea never disappoints!"

King Cole tea at the palace in Kabul, Afghanistan

Our good friend Gary Silliker, originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick travels the world and always makes sure he has a supply of his favorite beverage King Cole tea with him. Gary is currently performing the dangerous task of clearing land mines in Afghanistan. He paused from his duties recently to email this photo taken in front of the former king's palace in Kabul.

Thanks Gary!

I am emailing from the USA but my childhood was spent in England. The Brits as you know love their tea and typically serve a high quality product. Even in school we were served tea at recess as well as lunchtime. I learned to appreciate a good cup of tea.

In America I have been disappointed in the tea offered and often go to great lengths in purchasing teas that compare somewhat to those served in Britain. Several years ago while vacationing in New Brunswick my wife discovered King Cole tea. I was amazed to find a locally made tea that was similar to British teas I was used to. What a treat!

Hats off to you for producing a really quality tea. I look forward to many happy King Cole cuppas in the future.

I am a born and raised Texan. When in university I had a roommate whose mom was British. I was introduced to hot tea where before I had only preferred my tea iced.

Currently I live in Alaska and have a friend from Nova Scotia. She recently returned from visiting her home and brought me a box of King Cole tea bags. I was expecting nothing different in my cup, was I wrong !

Thank you for such a great tasting tea, this Texan will never be the same.

I have wanted to tell you for the longest time what a wonderful tea King Cole is! It is by far the best tea I have ever tasted. I am a former flight attendant. While traveling the world I had the opportunity to taste many teas but was always disappointed, so I started bringing King Cole on the airplanes with me.

I learned about King Cole from a sweet Irish lady who was fussy concerning her tea; the first time I tried King Cole, I was hooked!

It is wonderful to be able to purchase King Cole tea in the stores here in Ontario. I have converted friends and neighbors so that now they also will not drink any other tea except King Cole. My brother lives in Los Angeles and he begs us to send him a supply.

Thanks,

Diane - Toronto

We began drinking King Cole tea in 1953 shortly after locating from England to Fredericton, New Brunswick. The full-bodied flavor of King Cole is especially nice plus the fact we can get two cups of tea with the one gauze tea bag.

After moving to Ottawa in 1960 we continued to drink King Cole tea but we had to get relatives in NB to send boxes of King Cole or we purchased a supply when in the Maritimes.

A few years ago we tried King Cole decaf tea. It was superb! Much better than other decaf teas on the shelf. We are unable to buy the decaf in Ontario so we have it ordered by the case. Thankfully we can now purchase the regular King Cole tea in the Ottawa area. We now enjoy both regular and decaf King Cole teas. In our opinion you make the best tea we have ever experienced, bar none!"

What would a kitchen party be without a pot of tea on the stove? That is why we chose King Cole Tea as the exclusive tea of the Miramichi Kitchen Party. King Cole Tea has been such a large part of the rich culture here in Miramichi that we felt it was only fitting that we serve this product at our MotorCoach event. Tourists love to feel at home here and a great cup of tea is part of that feeling.

King Cole is as much Miramichi as the salmon in our river and the friendliness of our people. We will continue to serve this great product to all of our Tourist guests as they enjoy an evening of Miramichi stories and song.

Thanks for adding to our hospitality and atmosphere!

Claudette Bradshaw MP for Moncton & the Federal Minster of Labour hosted her majesty at a luncheon in her honor on Saturday, October 12th, 2002.

Towards the end of the luncheon Madame Bradshaw asked the Queen if She had ever had King Cole tea. Obviously the Queen had not. Madame Bradshaw said you must try it, it's the best tea! Made right here in NB from teas around the world. Madame Bradshaw asked one of the Hotel staff to go out and purchase a 60's box of King Cole tea, which she then presented to the Queen. Her majesty indicated she would let Madame Bradshaw know if King Cole is better then English tea.
